Across these four editionsour main concern was to keep the most important aspect of the festival's vision: the integrity of a live music programme - curated by our artistic director, Carlos Seixas - that promotes the equality in circulation of musicians from all geographies. One other aspect we are proud of is the return of the festival to Porto Covo, in It makes the festival richer, attracts new and different audiences, makes the relationship with this coastline even closer. Dear guests, After a full of bizarre events that transformed our perception of reality in an unprecedented way, MOTELX s 11th edition offers the celebration of an unchanging truth: the cinematographic truth. This cycle will begin during the Festival s Warm-Up with the screening of classic titles at the Portuguese Cinematheque and will conclude with a lecture titled Horror in Warm Land by the White Noise collective. This is the biggest prize for short films in Portugal: 5, complemented this year by a further 5, in post-production services by Kino Sound Studio. Another great attraction of this Festival is the visit of two living legends of the 7 th Art. As a guest of this celebration of horror in the Latin world, we have the honour of hosting the Chilean psycho-magician Alejandro Jodorowsky.
