The research is based on the analysis of four professional profiles, being: the orange, the businesswoman, the saleswoman and the domestic maid. The methodology used was the oral history, through the recorded interviews that were later transcribed, where some specific questions were selected, involving the origin of these women, educational level, familiar aspects, displacements and the peculiarities that involve the work in the region of border. As a content support, the study used some bibliographical references bringing historic elements and episodes that aim to understand feminist movements and the daily life of women, and providing a reflection on the reality of working on a border region. As an analysis method, the present study concerns understanding the woman in her own individuality, without generalizations. No Brasil, o período considerado como Estado Novo, entre os anos de afoi marcado pelo cerceamento político dos movimentos sociais. As mulheres ocuparam funções sociais, que antes eram destinadas aos homens, e esse acontecimento foi devido ao afastamento dos mesmos para os serviços da guerra. Essas redefinições ocorreram em primeiro lugar pela necessidade do trabalho feminino. Dessa forma, após as duas grandes guerras, essas mudanças geraram uma certa instabilidade, em que se alteraram as relações entre os sexos e com isso se estabeleceram efetivamente as discussões do feminismo.

O artigo analisa o comércio de rua em Luanda, particularmente o que é realizado por mulheres. The paper analyzes the street trading in Luanda, particularly the developed by women. Trough interviews, observation of everyday traders and the use of historical literature, I try to analyze the day-of-day of these women and their experiences and life trajectories. I also try to examine the participation of women in street trading, and from there identify ruptures and continuities in the routine practices of old and new generations of women street traders. I argue that while it is now one of the most striking faces of daily life in Luanda, the street trading has been present since the beginnings of the town, building and part of its plot and everyday social relation. Parte-se do pressuposto que ao mesmo tempo em que constitui hoje uma das faces mais marcante do quotidiano da cidade de Luanda, o comércio de rua esteve presente desde os primórdios da cidade, construindo e fazendo parte da sua trama quotidiana e das relações sociais. Tudo se goza, desde a heterogeneidade do âmbito ao cachoar do vozeio, desde o natural ao excêntrico, desde a boa índole à perversa [Ribas ].
